I am flying out with Liz to join my small sailing boat ‘Celtic Gold’ in Antalya, southern Turkey, at the beginning of September. The book about ancient Greece and the Aegean being finished, I intend to sail west, strolling on the high sea and following the wind and waves wherever they may take me.

The war in the region is disturbing (see blog entry) and I hope as few lives as possible are lost.
