I have recently returned home from sailing in Greece and am gardening, walking by the sea and writing the last part of my second memoir which takes my long life up to date. I am 76 and strongly aware of time’s winged chariot passing close by. We are all born astride the grave and should realize sooner rather than later that our life has an end as well as the beginning.
